How It Works
We will initially talk via email, to discuss your likes/dislikes, allergies/intolerances, and what meals will work best for you and your family. There is a long list of options you can choose from here. If you have any preferred recipes or favourite meals of your own, we can look at those and I’ll try my best to include them. Once you are happy with our plan, then it’s time to pay the non-refundable deposit and book in a date. You can view the pricing here. After I’ve received your deposit, and if you’re local, I’ll try and pop round to your house to say “hello” and have a quick look at your kitchen facilities, electrical gadgets, freezer storage options, and freezer space, so I know what I need to bring with me and can hit the ground running when I arrive on Cooking Day.

Once everything is finalised, I’ll email you a shopping list of all the ingredients you will need. You may well already have some of these! You buy in those ingredients a day or two before my scheduled cooking date, and then I can turn up and get stuck in straight away.
On the day, I’ll arrive at our agreed time and will probably be with you for three or four hours, depending on the meals you have chosen.


If you wish, I can leave you with a meal for that evening or the next day which can be stored in the fridge. I can also make a dessert or a cake/cookies. Another service I offer is to prepare some ready-to-go “dump bags” for the freezer, which you can defrost overnight and then chuck into the slow cooker, or a casserole dish in the oven, the next day for a super easy hot meal in the evening.
I will leave you with meals frozen in portion sizes to suit your family situation, and will label everything for you. You can then just defrost them and reheat, or else cook from frozen. You may still need to cook some vegetables and possibly potatoes/rice/pasta to go with some of the dishes.

Before I leave, I will stack the dishwasher and clean down the worktops and hob, plus put all rubbish I’ve created in your appropriate wheelie bins. Any leftover ingredients (part-used bottles of sauces, bags of flour, unused vegetables etc.) will be left for you to use as you wish.
